 Brief

In early August of 2023, the defendant Elizabeth Haynie was charged  with the killing of her late husband Jerome Haynie. The incident is reported as first-degree murder done with the weapon of a handgun. 

Her first trial was set to be in April and May of 2023, but has since been moved to late August of this year. To add her charges were changed to manslaughter due to a lawyer conflict that she had. Ultimately, she will be serving some time due to  the following reports that were made in 2021, to which her husband was injured at the time that raises some suspicion.

Conclusion

The sad news is that their children heard the gun shots and it was evident that they often heard the two arguing as they stated these things to officers according to camdenarknews.
